Black lace for a sexy cocktail dress. Afternoon before lunch time.
Next on the runway we saw creations by Designer Gilbert Chagoury, born in Lebanon and trained in Paris, embodies a Haute Couture sensibility honed while working for Christian Dior. He currently lives and works in LA, where he has developed a unique vibe that resonates with a younger clientele. I would characterize his style as Punk meets Chanel. He definitely likes lace that makes a woman feel feminine.
Chagoury's pink dress, flirty and demure very lunch time or may be a wedding reception.
Strutting up and down the runway, views from the front and back.
The first Look was a rather demure dress in blush with pleats and lace cutouts along the edge—very young. The line then faded from blush to black day dresses to long, fluid evening wear that fronted Bondage-smattered halter details riddled with black sequins. The collection had a progression from familiar to surprise details that made me smile.
Enjoy,
Jasmin
